Shadows of the Ethirerian

A tiny game for the Saturday Smash Jam #1 and my first game jam game!

All you need to do is download the zip, unzip it, and run the "Shadows of the Ethirerian.exe" file.

It has a small gameplay loop where you either fight or flee from a foe with some RNG to favor you. And some text to add to the "fights" and fleeing

My idea behind this was just a simple infinite combat game that was simple enough to be just a Fight and a Flee button. I also thought about having "Keep fighting" as an option but it was going to complicate it more than what I wanted to put in for today. But beyond art, and anything I forgot, I am quite happy with where it is, a simple idea that doesn't need fleshing out anymore. Though I could use it as a starting point for a future game/update.

I originally was planning on using the skeleton I drew, along with drawing a shadow and some other necromantic forces, however I am out of practice so I decided to use some robot drawings I have done in the past to give more variety and not have the "scary" foe look like a blob.

Also I am setting this to not even allow for donations for one very simple reason; this is barely a game, but just a simple concept as I dip my toes into the world of itch.io and game jams.
